Our Preacher, Tom Harguess, is in
his seventh year with the church. His ministry includes preaching twice
each week on Sunday, teaching at least 3 Bible studies each week, a weekly
article in the Friday Elk City News, a special radio program on KECO 96.5
every Sunday, up-dating the congregational Hot Line (580-225-3568) each
morning, pre-marriage counseling, weddings, funerals, Bible study
counseling in special circumstances, Gospel Meetings, and other speaking
appointments. |

Tom grew up in the home of a
Gospel Preacher, D.L. Harguess Sr. He has two brothers who also
preach, and has himself preached for 38 years. He has three step
brothers, one of whom is an Elder of the Lord's Church. Tom has done
local work in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and now Oklahoma. He and
his wife Carol have two grown children, Pam and Brand, and two grandsons. |

Rodney Minor (580-225-3378) is the
Associate Preacher for the Second & Adams Church of Christ, and he is
in his fourth year with us. His ministry with the church includes
preaching in the preacher's absence, teaching at least 4 Bible Classes per
week, special retreats, canoe trips down the river, camp outs, Blue Haven
Youth Camp, Quartz Mountain Youth Camp, Lariat Youth Camp, Sunday Night
Live, Summer Youth Series, pre-marriage counseling, Bible study
counseling, Boy Scouts, supervision of Bible Class program, song leading,
and special speaking appointments. Rod and his wife Cathy have two
grown sons, both of whom are Gospel Preachers.
